Academic shoot

Simplicity

1. I don't think i followed the rule well for this one because i think there is too much in the background.

2. The subject is supposed to be the girl looking over her notes for a test out in the courtyard. 

3. I think the subject is clear because the camera is focused on the girl and your attention goes straight to her.

4. I could have found someone who was maybe sitting against a plain wall without anything else going on, or i could have zoomed in or shot over her head to get a more basic picture.

Balance

1. I think i did okay following the rule with this one because there are equal things in each chair and all the other chairs are empty so your focus goes to the all the girls.

2. The subject is the table in the center with all the girls working on homework or studying or whatever they were doing.

3. I think it is clear because there isn't anything going on except for the girls in the middle studying and doing work and you look right at them.

Rule of thirds

1. I feel like i followed the rule well because they are in the frame but they have enough room to move to the left if they wanted to scoot over or something.

2. The subject is the people sitting in the table studying or doing homework together.

3. I think it is clear because, like the other picture, there is nothing else going on except for the people sitting in the chairs.

Framing

1. I think I followed the rule well for this one because the box study thing is like the frame and she is right in it and there is nothing popping in or out.

2. The subject is the girl studying quietly by herself in the study box thing.

3. I think it is clear because she is the only focus in the photo.

4. I could have shot i the front of her instead of shooting to an angle.

Lines

1.  I think I followed this rule the best because you can clearly see the lines and there are also lines everywhere else.
2. the subject is the artwork that is colored red, pink, yellow, orange, and black.
3. I think the subject is clear because you can clearly see the artwork and the lines.
4. I could have done an above shot to make the artwork the only thing in the picture but then it would just be the art and not the person who did it.
