American soldier slide show and captions

I think this picture is the most powerful because he is about to leave all of his friends and family to go to Iraq to fight and he won't see them for quite a while.

B. Picture #1-Picture #9
Picture #10-Picture #30
Picture #51- Picture#75
Picture #76-Picture #82

I think the set that was the most powerful were the last set of pictures because everyone was so happy to see him back and okay and the pictures are just very emotional.

c. The pictures just resemble his life since college and its an emotional story of being deployed to Iraq and fighting for his life.

Present tense
B. the captions help tell the readers/viewers what is actually going on and what he was feeling or thinking.

Ian kisses his girlfriend trying to make the moment last forever on the ferris wheel and a state fair in his hometown Denver. "She was the only thing holding me back from going," Ian said. "I don't want to leave my friends or her."

Photo #47
Ian hugs his friends as he is just thinking about what is going to come tomorrow, he is in his house with both his friends tony and steve , and they do not want him to leave. Looking back, Ian thinks about his friends and wondered what it would have been like if he had stayed.

photo #49
As Ian waits for his flight to come so all the soldiers can arrive in Iraq, Ian decides he wants to rest a couple hours and so does his friends. Ian experienced many things but he had never had to wait 6 hours for a plane to arrive, so he was pretty tired.
