Academic Shoot preview assignment

The story

I think this tells the best story because all of these kids are having a prayer circle at, what looks like, early in the morning, and the picture looks very peaceful. I think the story is that they came early in the morning to recognize their religion and start their day with what they love.

Action and Emotion

The action and emotion in this photo is very defined, and you can obviously tell the two girls are very happy and impressed, they also look pretty surprised. The acton in this photo is why I chose this photo to use. Its really cool how the photographer captured the ice or water, whatever it is, and got it at just the right time.

Filling the frame

I feel like this is the most interesting photo because students don't normally do this to their teachers and its funny to see all their expressions and see how happy they all are. The frame is filled because you can see that the teacher is having fun even though teachers can act tough they can still have fun.

Part 2:

My favorite photo from the Academics and Community service area is the one called "Drop the bass" and it is a picture of a girl who looks like she is doing some sort of experiment on a speaker, which is most likely playing music, and she is dropping paint onto to the speaker and when the paint hits the speaker it flies up and the photographer caught the paint at just the right moment.

1. I picked this photo because the paint in the picture looks really cool and whoever the photographer is, they made the picture look amazing and i like how the paint is the the focus and you can see the girl in the background focusing on the paint.

2. There aren't really any rules of photography in this picture but you can tell the photographer took time into this photo and you can tell that the photographer used focusing because the photo would look really bad without focusing.

Final questions:

1. I could pictures in science or biology classes because they are usually doing experiments, I could also go to dance classes, any athletic classes because they are always doing some sort of form of action and it would look cool getting a picture of them doing something right in the middle of what ever they are doing.

2.  Maybe like, a dance class because they do a lot of action and getting someone kicking or jumping would be cool.

3. I will follow all the rules of photography and make sure everything is focused so that people can understand what i am taking.
